The idea for reusing the old locomotive garage to public spa came from the tourist view of the net of old ironworks near the city of Karjaa and the rhythm of the old structures and arches in the garage. The underfloor spaces in the locomotive garage under the train spots offer spaces for the spas technical equipment and water filtering systems.
The demolishing of old bearing structures has been minimalized except the ground level where the pools take spaces from underground. New parts are mainly built by following the structural rhythm and materials of the old parts.
